To further commit to fairness, inclusiveness and diversity in the veterinary industry, Royal Canin announced today that it will expand its support to the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine and provide a five-year financial commitment.

Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine is the only veterinary medicine program located on the campus of a historic black college or university in the United States. Royal Canin's donation will help promote diversity in the veterinary field by providing discretionary financial support to Tuskegee veterinary students.

This new contribution expands Royal Canin's commitment to enhancing diversity in the veterinary sector. In 2020, Royal Canin becomes a founding member of the Diversity Veterinary Medicine Coalition, which aims to improve the fairness, inclusiveness and diversity of veterinary professionals. The business further supports other inclusive initiatives through numerous internal assistant resource groups (ARGs), including Pride, Tu Voz, and Black Advisory Council.
