Colitis is inflammation of the large or small colon, which can cause diarrhea, the proliferation of harmful bacteria, and even death in severe cases. This dangerous situation can be due to many reasons-since it takes a long time to obtain test results, it takes a long time for the veterinarian to find out many of the reasons after receiving and starting to treat the equine patient.
