Production methods
1. Calcium hydroxide powder was prepared into suspension in the neutralization pot, neutralized by adding propionic acid until pH value was 7 ~ 8, neutralization temperature was 70~100ºC, neutralization time was 2 ~ 3h. The neutralization liquid is filtered to remove insoluble substances, and the liquid is concentrated, cooled, crystallized, separated and dried into finished products. CH3CH2COOH[Ca(OH)2]→(CH3CH2COO)2Ca reacted with propionic acid in excess eggshells for 3h at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. After filtration, concentration, and drying at 120ºC, the scaly white anhydrous calcium propionate crystal was obtained, with a yield of over 97%. (3) In the reactor, CaO was mixed with a certain amount of water to make lime milk with a concentration of 1.0 ~ 1.3mol/L, and then the solution of propionic acid with a concentration of 12 ~ 13mol/L (excess 50%) was slowly added under constant stirring at 70 ~ 95ºC, and then the solution was stirred for 30min until the calcium propionate solution was clarified. Control the pH value of 7 ~ 8, after cooling, filtration, remove insoluble, filtrate transfer into the evaporator, concentrated white powder calcium propionate, and then in a drying oven at 120 ~ 140ºC drying dehydration, white powder anhydrous calcium propionate products.
